The Washington Arts & Heritage Festival Committee once again hopes to bring some of our regions finest artists, performers and organizations together for an exciting FREE community event the weekend of August 21-23, 2009 - and we need help! This event requires a tremendous commitment from our volunteers, who donate their time and money towards the event because it has developed into a wonderful avenue to learn about the arts, heritage and businesses of our area, and promote visitors to Washington. Along with premium artwork, we are providing music and entertainment from many genres, an expanded Amusement Area which will include free family-friendly activities, more vendors, and an Art & History Tour and Scavenger Hunt. By giving to the Arts and Heritage Festival, you will be supporting a family-oriented, community-related event, in which most activities and displays are free to the public, but we have operational expenses that does need to be covered in order to continue to offer a festival that brings together so many different backgrounds and offers so much.
